While tattooing as quick as she can, considering the artist style is not one that can be done quickly. So thank you so much for that Lainey. You try so hard to make it as quick and as painless as possible. Though hard to avoid since it is a tattoo after all.

Her demeanor and style is not one I've encountered much. Not only is her work award winning in multiple countries and states. It really speaks for itself, each pass of the needle. Is more like a brush stroke from a paintbrush and your body the canvas.

Seeing my tattoos for the first time instilled a sense of pride I have not had in a very long time. Before I hated being in a bikin, now I'll wear one all day! Lol.

The healing process when following her care instructions goes very well. If deviated from though, it can lead to some headaches not only for you but Lainey as well. So as long as your take care of yourself while healing following those instructions. Your tattoo will be looking as beautiful as you.

I currently recommend Lainey to every one, unless its black and grey work. For color and vibrancy, recommendations for Lainey come all day every day! Not only do we get compliments in the streets, but tattoo conventions and almost every where we go. But not only that, she treats her clients so well. Making sure you're not taking on more than you can handle while gentley pushing you to make it through the session. Because though tattoos are incredibly beautiful and worth every second (in my opinion) they can be in some tough/painful in some areas.

I chose Lainey as my artist because once I had one piece from her. I was ready to be covered in her art work. Not only because it is award winning. But also because I enjoy her witty humor, kind demeanor, and our silly conversations.

I've been going to Lainey for my tattoos for years. I'd travel across the world for our sessions but now that she's in Vegas. It's made it a lot easier on me. Over these years, I have developed a deep gratitude for all that mother ocean has to offer. My tattoo reflects the beauty and peacefulness that I experience when I am in the ocean.

I have many tattoos, however, this particular tattoo I wanted to capture some of my most favorite things about the ocean. I looked for an artist for a very long time that could accurately capture what I saw in my mind.

I stumbled upon Lainey’s Instagram about six years ago. I obsessed over her art and desperately wanted a tattoo from her. I was so stoked to find that she was doing a guest spot in Oahu. It really felt like it was meant to be.

During the tattoo process, I came prepared to zone out, read a book or listen to music. I was pleasantly surprised to have engaging conversation with Lainey the entire time. I always have at least two or three tattoo ideas bouncing around in my head. I’m definitely not an artist, so they’re more like concepts than full-fledged designs. For a long time, I wanted something that really reflected my family.

I'd been following Lainey Bee on Instagram for a while, and then I saw that she was coming to Vegas to tattoo. Vegas? That’s only three hours away from me! I couldn't believe it—what would it be like to have your dream artist do a tattoo for you? ...

I spent some time browsing her website, and I was instantly drawn to her process. She wasn’t just an incredible artist, but also fair, smart, and professional. I respected that a lot. During the consultation, we talked about my ideas, and she helped me see what would be difficult about them. After listening to me, she suggested some things to think about, and we set up another Zoom to finalize the details. I also had to think about the money. I felt guilty spending that kind of money on myself when I could use it for so many other things in the home. My husband told me “You never put yourself first. You deserve to have something you love, besides, the only thing you can take with you when you die are your tattoos”. He was right. The more I thought about it, the more I realized I really wanted a Halloween-themed tattoo created by Lainey Bee.

Halloween had always been such a big deal in my family. We loved decorating, dressing up, and even hosted free “spook alleys” for the neighborhood for years. So when it came time for our second Zoom call, I told her how much I loved the idea of a Halloween-themed tattoo.

Seeing her work online, I felt completely confident that whatever she created, it would be amazing. I told her I wanted to give her full creative control. She took the time to ask me about my likes and dislikes, as well as some specifics to really understand my vision. She also asked if she could add her own style to it—of course, I was all in. That was exactly what I wanted, because I knew it would make it a true Lainey Bee original.

After the call, she followed up with a detailed email summarizing everything we discussed, which made me feel really heard. She also included info about the down payment method. Yes, putting down a large deposit can be nerve-wracking, but after everything we’d discussed, I felt completely comfortable with the decision and knew I wasn’t getting scammed. Honestly, the toughest part of the entire process was the waiting. It was going to be several months before my appointment, but I knew it would be worth it. Friends were shocked that I wouldn’t see the design until I showed up at my tattoo appointment. But I wasn’t nervous at all.

Finally, the big day arrived. I showed up at the shop, excited to meet her in person and to see my design. I had to keep my cool, but deep down, I was totally fangirling. When she turned her tablet around to show me the design, I swear I heard my jaw drop. It wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned, but it was everything I wanted and more! She asked if I wanted to make any changes, and I just said, “Nope, I love it.”

She walked me through her tattooing process, making sure I saw the sealed needles and inks with their dates on them, which added even more professionalism to the experience. Throughout the session, she checked in with me, making sure I was comfortable and chatting when I needed to shift positions. The entire process was so different from any other tattoo experience I’ve had. She genuinely cared about me and about giving me a piece of art I’d be proud of for years.

I sat for a 7-hour tattoo session—something I’d never done before—and there were definitely moments around hour five where I thought about tapping out. But I pushed through because I wanted this so badly. And then came the moment I’d been waiting for: “Okay, I’m done. Ready to see it?” She cleaned it off and applied some aftercare ointment, and when I looked at my arm, I was in utter shock. It looked EXACTLY like the hauntingly beautiful picture she had created for me on the tablet. Every detail was there—the creepy doll figure looked like a portrait! The lights from the jack-o-lanterns reflecting in her eyes. The colors were vibrant, and I couldn’t stop staring at it. This was MY tattoo. Holy cow, SO worth the money.

Everything from the initial Zoom calls to the care during the application to the final, vibrant tattoo captured everything I loved. After taking some photos and videos of my new piece (I felt like my arm was getting glamour shots), I thanked her, trying hard not to fan-girl out, and left the shop. My husband and I went to dinner afterward, and all I wanted to do was look at my tattoo.

A year and a half later, and I still look at it in awe, completely in love with it. I absolutely recommend Lainey Bee to anyone looking for bold, beautiful color tattoos that last.
